Silhouettes in Photoshop

Overall, this is about using the MAGIC WAND and the SELECT -> INVERSE commands.

MAKING A CUSTOM PHOTOSHOP PAINTBRUSH

            -select just part of an image using selection tools or magic wand/select inverse method

            -go to EDIT-> DEFINE BRUSH

            -give the brush a name and save

MAKING A PHOTO SILHOUETTE

            -on the top layer have a background image

            -on the bottom layer have an image with a shape that you want to silhouette

            -select the silhouette using selection tools or the magic wand/select inverse method

            -switch to the top layer and use the silhouetted selection to create a photo silhouette

MAKING A TEXT SILHOUETTE

            -on the top layer have a background image

            -on the bottom layer type out words using the type tool

            -select the text using the magic wand/select inverse method

            -switch to the top layer and use the silhouetted selection to create a photo silhouette

ASSIGNMENT - make a 1000x1000 @72 pixel canvas and by layering and using all these techniques, make a finished work of art. Remember about movement and pattern!
